About Us

In the Spring of 2006, six friends took a short trip to Arizona to catch some Mariner games and get some sun.  We came home with great memories, a few autographs, and a concept for a T-shirt company.  We had been tossing around different ideas and laughing about how much we'd heard the expression, "yeah, but..." and suddenly it clicked.  We would start a line of comfortable clothing and call it "Yabut Genuine Inactive Wear".

We became official in 2007 and started selling our products at local fairs, bazaars and a few retail outlets.  Our products tend to elicit smiles when people "get it", and our customers like the comfort and quality of our clothing.  Even though we market it as "inactive wear", it is of course perfect for all your active wear needs as well.

Yabut Wear is headquartered in Olympia,WA and is co-owned by 2 state patrol officers, 3 teachers and the owner of a silk screening company.  As you can imagine, we have all heard our share of "yeah buts" throughout our careers!
